TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy announced the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey on Monday afternoon.
There were 3,511 new PCR cases reported and 533 antigen tests, with 23 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 568,573 positive PCR cases, 62,501 positive antigen cases, and 18,367 deaths, and 2,091 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
According to Murphy, Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 54,932, followed by Essex (54,930), Middlesex (54,059), Hudson (51,828), Passaic (44,230), with 1,355 under investigation.
Two counties had over 300 new cases, Ocean (387) and Monmouth (332.) Five counties reported over 200 new cases, Hudson (285), Bergen (283), Middlesex (279), Essex (276), and Union (240.)
Eight counties reported over 100 new cases, Burlington (185), Camden (184), Morris (167), Passaic (129), Atlantic (126), Mercer (118), Gloucester (108), and Somerset (104.)
As of 10 p.m. on Sunday night, there were 3,432 patients hospitalized, 632 in ICU and 426 on vents.
