MOONACHIE, NJ - The Moonachie Police Department is asking the public's help in looking for a missing borough woman. .

Police were called to the home on of Angelina Wolchko on the morning of July 7. Her daughter, Nancy, told officers her mother went missing sometime during the overnight hours and that her mother suffers from dementia. She was last seen wearing pink pajamas and black slippers.

Officers that responded were familiar with her and immediately began searching for her throughout the home and property. A Maywood Police Bloodhound (K-9) tracked the scent from an item of clothing to the end of Maple Street. The scent was lost toward the end of the block. Officers continued to search the Borough as well as contacting local area hospitals. In the overnight hours a team of Search and Rescue volunteers assembled and checked all areas of town.

Officers continue to check all available surveillance and security footage from residents and businesses in hopes to establish a timeline and last location for Wolchko.
