TRENTON, NJ - New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Tuesday afternoon.
There were 3,466 new PCR cases reported and 869 antigen tests, with 49 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 842,408 positive PCR cases, 117,513 positive antigen cases, and 22,372 deaths, and 2,573 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 84,502 followed by Essex (81,857), Middlesex (81,347), Hudson (75,614), and Monmouth (64,272.)
Essex County had the most new cases overnight with 417 cases. Middlesex (331) and Bergen (303) each had over 300 new cases. Four counties reported over 200 new cases, Hudson (284), Passaic (284), Monmouth (258), and Camden (214.)
Six counties recorded over 100 new cases, Morris (182), Union (181), Burlington (164), Ocean (149), Gloucester (143), and Mercer (113.)
As of 10 p.m. Monday, there were 2,319 people hospitalized, 459 patients in ICU and 239 on ventilators.
