WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- Wood-Ridge Board of Education named Joseph Sutera the new principal for the Junior/Senior High School at a special meeting on Tuesday night. He begins Wednesday, September 6. The vote was unanimous. He was promoted from the position of vice principal.
“The district gave me an opportunity to grow professionally,” Sutera said at the end of the meeting. “I will work tirelessly for the district, the Board of Education, and the administration. Whatever it takes to get the job done, I will do it.”
The Board indicated that 20 candidates had applied for the job. The status of his current job with the district has not yet been determined.
