New Supervisor of Special Services Named by Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – The new Supervisor of Special Services was named at the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education meeting on Thursday night. Janine Gribbin, who is currently employed at a Morris County school district, will start November 1.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matthew Helfant stated that she will be officially introduced to the parents in late October.  More information about the meeting would be announced at the September Board meeting.

Helfant noted that construction is on schedule for schools to open the first week of September. Staff will report on Tuesday, September 5. The first day of classes for students will be Wednesday, September 6.

In the Superintendent’s report, Helfant also said that the 8th grade NJ ASK science scores will be posted to the district’s website.
