NEWARK, NJ - An eight run outburst over the final two innings propelled Immaculate Conception to a 12-2 win over Robbinsville in the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions semi-finals Wednesday evening.  Faith Cammileri of Hasbrouck Heights slugged three hits for the Blue Wolves, who advance to play Steinert High School Friday afternoon at Ivy Hill Park.

Holding a 4-2 lead going into the top of the sixth, IC broke the game open with a five-run inning, capped off by Jordan Farhat’s grand slam home run, which made the score 9-2. The Blue Wolves added three more in the seventh, one on a Cammileri single, to extend the lead to 12-2.

The Blue Wolves jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first, with the second run scoring on a Cammileri single.

Friday’s championship game will match the sixth-seeded Blue Wolves against Steinert, the fourth seed, who upset #1 seed St. John Vianny, 3-2, to advance.
