NEWARK, NJ -  Steinert High School took advantage of three Immaculate Conception errors to score nine runs in the first inning and Kaylee Whittaker held the Blue Wolves to three hits in a 9-0 victory in the championship game of the NJSIAA Girls Softball Tournament of Champions.

Caylee English took the loss for Immaculate Conception, allowing nine runs, of which only three were earned, all in the first inning.  After that she settled down and shut down Steinert, not allowing a run the rest of the way.
