PARAMUS, NJ – Thursday morning Mayor LaBarbiera cut the ribbon for Sony’s newest location located on Century Road. The new 45,000 square foot facility will act as offices and a repair center for the Japanese tech company. Sony closed facilities in Park Ridge and Teaneck to join them together in Paramus. The new state of the art facility is expected to bring upwards of 225 new employees to town.
The ribbon cutting was attended by over two hundred Sony employees.
“One of my favorite things to do is ribbon cuttings. It shows growth within the town and demonstrates the vitality of our strong tax base” Mayor LaBarbiera said. "Paramus continues to welcome new businesses to town on almost a weekly basis."
