HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ --  The overnight downpours and gray morning skies didn't stop the annual Hasbrouck Heights Easter Egg Hunt at Depken Field Saturday morning.

About 200 children from Pre-School (ages 4 to 5) through third grade gathered colorful eggs in search of a golden ticket hidden inside. There were special prizes for the six children who found the hidden golden ticket. Every child went home with a goodie bag. Children also had an chance to get a photo with the Easter bunny, who mixed and mingled throughout the morning.

The event is sponsored by the Mayor's Committee on Community Celebrations, with assistance from the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department, Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department, Division of Public Works and student volunteers.
