SADDLE BROOK, NJ - The Wood-Ridge Pee Wee football fell to Lyndhurst in the 2020 Meadowlands Football League Super Bowl Saturday afternoon at Veteran's Field in Saddle Brook.
Both teams were undefeated, going 5-0 in the regular season, which was shortened due to the ongoing pandemic.

The Pee Wee Blue Devils defense held Lyndhurst in check during the first half, behind the efforts of Zadrian Salgado, Mason Fitzpatrick, Lukas Mabel and Angelo Ragozzino.
Wood-Ridge scored in the second quarter. The Pee Wee Blue Devils took over on the 19-yard line. Quarterback David Ciliento, Jr., and Aiden Messino moved the ball, and a Lyndhurst offsides penalty moved them closer to the goal line. On second and goal from the one, Ciliento ran a quarterback keeper to tie the game at 1:02 in the half. Ciliento also scored the extra point putting Wood-Ridge ahead 7-6 going into halftime.
