The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management is keeping a close eye on Hurricane Florence. The track of the storm looks to hit the Carolinas in the next 24 hours, but it is a reminder that it is still hurricane season.
The risk of Florence impacting the East Coast as a strong hurricane is increasing. If and exactly when and where still remains uncertain at this point. However, it is important to remain aware of the forecast and ensure you have a plan in place in case more direct impacts threaten your area. Now is the time to review and refresh your hurricane preparedness plans and kits.
