WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Santa Claus had a special escort when he came to visit the children of Wood-Ridge on Saturday morning.

Members of the Wood-Ridge Police Department helped Santa greet children and families from the borough at Spencer Savings Bank. According to Wood-Ridge PBA delegate Mark Torsiello, this is the first time that the bank and police have teamed up with Santa. On hand to greet the Man in Red was Wood-Ridge Police Chief John Korin, Torsiello, branch manager Elaine Blondek, Regina Postupak, and Monika Ogorkowski.

Children spent time visiting with Santa, and sharing their wish list. They also posed with photos, and even four-legged family members got to visit with Santa, too.
