TRENTON, NJ - New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Saturday.
There were 3,474 new PCR cases reported and 717 antigen tests, with 40 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 855,759 positive PCR cases, 119,945 positive antigen cases, and 22,542 deaths, and 2,592 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 85,763 followed by Essex (83,458), Middlesex (82,738), Hudson (76,781), and Monmouth (65,266.)
Four counties reported over 300 new cases, Middlesex (381), Essex (371), Bergen (338), and Hudson (300.) Four counties recorded over 200 new cases, Monmouth (289), Passaic (253), Union (236), and Ocean (202.)
Four counties reported over 100 new cases, Camden (164), Morris (161), Burlington (140), and Gloucester (106.)
As of 10 p.m. Friday, there were 2,095 people hospitalized, with 446 patients in ICU and 247 on ventilators.
