TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey on Saturday afternoon
There were 3,015 new PCR cases reported and 1,055 antigen tests, with 37 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 718,873 positive PCR cases, 91,217 positive antigen cases, and 21,160 deaths, and 2,397 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 70,891 followed by Middlesex (69,151), Essex (69,008), Hudson (65,191), Passaic (53,146), with 1,094 under investigation.
Monmouth County lead the state with the most new cases overnight with 307. Six counties recorded over 200 new cases, Bergen (297), Ocean (289), Middlesex (281), Essex (273), Hudson (248) and Union (202.) Four counties reported over 100 new cases, Passaic (178), Morris (166), Camden (123), and Burlington (112.)
As of 10 p.m. Friday, there were 1,862 people hospitalized, 382 patients in ICU and 233 on ventilators.
