WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- Wood-Ridge announced road closures and parking bans in conjunction with Town Day on Sunday, June 10, according to the borough's website and Nixle feed.
The inaugural Wood-Ridge Town Day will be held on Sunday, June 10. The outdoor street festival will be held Valley Boulevard between Wood-Ridge Avenue and Windsor Road from 2pm to 7pm. It will feature live music by “The Nerds”, food vendors, a tiki bar and free rides and amusements for children. Showing identification and being issued a wristband is mandatory to be served alcohol, regardless of age. The event will be held rain or shine.
On Sunday, Valley Boulevard will be closed to vehicles from North Avenue to Windsor Road from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. There will be no parking on Valley Boulevard from 5 am to 9 pm. A handicap parking lot will be available at 286 Valley Blvd, between Innes Road and Windsor Road. Handicap placards must be displayed.
