HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- Teachers, staff and students at Hasbrouck Heights High School and Middle School will return to classes after a smell of gas caused an evacuation Wednesday morning. Students will return to school at 11:30 a.m., per a message from the District sent to parents. The students had been evacuated to Borough Hall.

The evacuation was called just before 11 a.m. "...due to the smell of gas in the MS/HS.  Only the MS/HS has been impacted - Euclid School and Lincoln School students and staff have not been evacuated," per a District email.

Students were on a half day schedule during quarterlies.
