TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy announced the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey on Sunday afternoon.
There were 4,686 new PCR cases reported and 710 antigen tests, with 26 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 565,097 positive PCR cases, 62,124 positive antigen cases, and 18,348 deaths, and 2,091 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
According to Murphy, Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 54,678, followed by Essex (54,637), Middlesex (53,778), Hudson (51,551), Passaic (44,107), with 1,321 under investigation.
Six counties reported over 400 new cases, Middlesex (492), Bergen (440), Monmouth (439), Hudson (434), Essex (416), and Ocean (406.)
Four counties reported over 200 new cases, Morris (257), Union (244), Passaic (219) and Burlington (214.) Five counties had over 200 new cases, Camden (274), Atlantic (263), Pasaic (262), Morris (255) and Burlington (209.)
Five counties reported over 100 new cases, Camden (199), Mercer (179), Atlantic (148), Somerset (116), and Gloucester (113.)
As of 9 p.m. on Sunday night, hospital data was not available from the state.
