TRENTON, NJ - New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Sunday afternoon
There were 2,897 new PCR cases reported and 695 antigen tests, with 14 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 837,052 positive PCR cases, 116,438 positive antigen cases, and 22,297 deaths, and 2,573 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 84,060 followed by Essex (81,261), Middlesex (80,784), Hudson (75,178), and Monmouth (63,874.)
Essex County had the most new cases with 334. Five counties recorded over 200 new cases, Bergen (285), Middlesex (273), Monmouth (243), Hudson (235) and Ocean (213.)
Six counties reported over 100 new cases, Union (176), Morris (149), Camden (146), Passaic (144), Burlington (126), and Atlantic (100.)
As of 10 p.m. Saturday, there were 2,296 people hospitalized, 455 patients in ICU and 249 on ventilators.
