HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – Did you miss something on TAPinto Hasbrouck Heights/Wood-Ridge/Teterboro last week?  Here’s a review of some of what we covered during the week. 

The  Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce announced fast-approaching deadlines for two major events, the annual Taste of Hasbrouck Heights and Holiday Fest. It also provided an update of preliminary ideas to help resolve the ongoing parking issues along the Boulevard.

The Hasbrouck Heights Junior Woman’s Club will host their first-ever “Ask the Candidates” forum for Board of Education candidates and is seeking questions from the public.

The Hasbrouck Board of Education released its HIB Self-Assessment Report and fielded a variety of questions from parents and students at its monthly meeting.

To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Wood-Ridge High School hosted a fundraiser for Fighting Pretty at its Sunday home game against Emerson High School. Twin sisters hosted a lemonade stand to raise money for the victims Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

TAPinto named its Athlete of the Week and its first Athlete of the Month. Plus there was coverage of high school and junior football, and soccer. Go to the Sports homepage to see all the results.
