TETERBORO, NJ - The Teterboro Mayor and Council approved on second hearing two ordinances for upcoming roadway improvements in the borough at Tuesday night's meeting held via conference call.

Ordinance 611 authorized the milling, resurfacing and construction of curbs and sidewalks on North Street for $600 thousand dollars, funded by both a New Jersey Department of Transportation Grand and the borough's Capital Improvement Fund. Ordinance 612 authorized the milling ans resurfacing and construction of curbs and sidewalks on Hollister Road for $350 thousand dollars, also funded by a NJ DOT grand and from the borough's Capital Improvement Fund.

The Council introduced Ordinance 613 to refurbish, repair and replace computer software and equipment for the finance and tax office for $30 thousand dollars.

In addition, the Council passed the following Consent Resolutions:

a. Approve Municipal Clerk to go out for bid for North Street Improvement

b. Approve Shared Services Agreement with Wood Ridge regarding Sewer Jet Machine.

c. Approve the Tax Collector to prepare Third Quarter Estimated Tax Bills.

d. Approve the appointment of Stephen P. Sanzari as Purchasing Agent for a one-year period.

e. Approve Inclusion confirms Borough of Teterboro intent to continue as a participant in Bergen County HUD Urban County entitlement program and remains eligible for HUD grant funding.

f. Approve Execution which essentially authorizes execution and signing of new Three Year Cooperative Agreement for a period beginning July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024.

g. Approve the renewal of the alcohol beverage license for Rudy’s In Flight Catering Inc. for the period October 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, License No. 0262-33-001-006.
