TETERBORO, NJ - The Borough of Teterboro read a proclamation in observation of Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of its regular business at Tuesday's monthly meeting.
The proclamation recognized October's designation as a "platform for educating women" and recognized "breast cancer survivors are a testament to resilience" and celebrated "the survivors and memorialize those who have lost their their battle." It was signed by Mayor John P. Watt.
Officials announced that the borough is at full capacity with six pumps and have an extra pump as a backup. They also noted that a letter from the New Jersey DOT dated September 23 indicated that the organization will be combining the North Street (Section 4) projects.
The next meeting of the Teterboro Mayor and Council has been changed to Thursday, November 14 from Tuesday, November 12 due to Veterans Day.
