TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey on Thursday afternoon.

There were 2,605 new PCR cases reported and 796 antigen tests, with 42 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 712,585 positive PCR cases, 90,084 positive antigen cases, and 21,094 deaths, and 2,397 probable COVID-19 fatalities. 

Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 70,177 followed by Middlesex (68,573), Essex (68,424), Hudson (64,587), Passaic (52,757), with 1,078 under investigation.

Six counties reported over 200 new cases, Bergen (297), Monmouth (255), Ocean (251), Essex (238), Hudson (223), and Middlesex (217.)  Three counties recorded over 100 new cases, Union (147), Morris (143), and Passaic (133.)

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there were 1,900 people hospitalized, 376 patients in ICU and 214 on ventilators.
