TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Thursday afternoon.  While he didn't hold a press briefing, the governor did host a live online conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, about the status of coronavirus in New Jersey.

In New Jersey, there were 588 new cases reported, with 10 new deaths. Statewide, there are 201,552 positive cases and 14,300 deaths, and 1,791 probable COVID-19 fatalities.

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 22,304 positive cases, and followed by Essex (20,927), Hudson (20,568), Middlesex (19,260), Passaic (18,909) with 330 under investigation.

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there were 433 people hospitalized, 88 patients in ICU and 34 on ventilators.
