TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Thursday. 

In New Jersey, there were 699 new cases reported, with eight new deaths. Statewide, there are 186,594 positive cases and 14,054 deaths, and 1,839 probable COVID-19 fatalities.  

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 20,940 positive cases, and followed by Essex (19,840), Hudson (19,792), Middlesex (18,015), Passaic (17,801) with 939 under investigation.

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there were 545 people hospitalized, with 103 patients in ICU and 28 on ventilators. Deaths in Bergen County remain unchanged 1,787 fatalities, according to the Governor.
