HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- A stretch of the Boulevard northbound is closed Monday morning due to a sinkhole, according to the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department.
The section of Boulevard north from Springfield Avenue to the circle is closed as Hasbrouck Heights Police Department and DPW work on the roadway. The circular sinkhole is approximately one foot deep and spreads four to five five feet underneath the road. A passerby reported it earlier in the morning.
Traffic is being detoured onto the side streets. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes throughout the day.
