TRENTON, NJ - New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Tuesday afternoon.
There were 2,393 new PCR cases reported and 600 antigen tests, with 40 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 862,811 positive PCR cases, 121,064 positive antigen cases, and 22,614 deaths, and 2,592 probable COVID-19 fatalities.
Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 86,326 followed by Essex (84,323), Middlesex (83,454), Hudson (77,391), and Monmouth (65,762.)
Four counties reported over 200 new cases, Essex (295), Bergen (234), Middlesex (226), and Hudson (206.) Five counties recorded over 100 new cases, Monmouth (165), Passaic (159), Union (154), Ocean (139), and Camden (128.)
As of 10 p.m. Monday, there were 2,108 people hospitalized, with 463 patients in ICU and 254 on ventilators.
