TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest positive cases of COVID-19 and deaths from around the state on Tuesday.

In New Jersey, there are 310 new cases with 52 new deaths. Statewide, there are 173,878 positive cases and 13,425 deaths, and 1856 probably COVID deaths.

Bergen County Executive James Tedesco announced that there are 19,684 positive cases in the county as of 12 pm Tuesday. According to Tedesco, Hasbrouck Heights has 218 cases, Wood-Ridge has 150 cases, and Teterboro has 6 cases.

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 19,676 positive cases, and followed by Hudson (19,016), Essex (18,918), Passaic (16,974), and Middlesex (16,966), with 682 under investigation.  There are a total of 1,743 deaths in Bergen County, while Essex County, continues to lead the state with 1,801, according to Governor Murphy.

As of 10 p.m. Monday, Murphy noted there were 903 patients in the hospital being treated for COVID-19, with 169 patients were in ICU or critical care, and 142 patients on ventilators. There were 43 live patients discharges from the hospital.

On Monday, Murphy announced that he will scale back his daily press briefings to three times a week. Bergen County Executive James Tedesco has scaled his release of county information to twice a week in late June.
