TETERBORO, NJ -- Tuesday afternoon's warehouse fire in Teterboro started on the roof, according to a borough fire official. The two-alarm fire was at 1000 Huyler Street -- the Strawberry warehouse -- on Route 46 West in Teterboro.

Hasbrouck Heights Fire Chief Angelo Roccamo said an electrical extension on the roof had shorted out and started the fire.

"The fire official was on the scene and investigated it," said Roccamo. "It was just confined to the roof."

Providing mutual aid to the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department on scene was the Wood-Ridge Fire Department, Wallington FAST team, Moonachie EMS, Carlstadt EMS, and Hackensack Fire Department.

Fire departments from South Hackensack, Moonachie, and Little Ferry provided coverage in Hasbrouck Heights, and responded to a call at a local restaurant, which turned out to be a false alarm due to a system malfunction.
