WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - A pair of Wood-Ridge graduates, along with their partner from Carlstadt, will be on Shark Tank on April 3 with the company, MUVEZ. Tune in to find out what happens as the entrepreneurs bring their product to the sharks.
Wood-Ridge natives Eric and Ryan Cruz, along with partner Kevin Zamora (Carlstadt) are the people behind MUVEZ, which makes innovative footwear that provides the comfort of slipper combined with the ability to be worn outdoors due to an innovative second sole technology, which is awaiting patent approval.
Eric is a 2006 graduate of Wood-Ridge High School, with an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Kean and a Master’s Degree Business and Sports Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus.
Ryan is a 2008 graduate of Wood-Ridge High School, and attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he studied Industrial Design.
According to Eric, they were approached by Shark Tank producers who had seen their ads on their Facebook platform, and approached the group to appear on the show.
“To be on a show that generates millions of viewers on a nightly basis, was something that we desired, something we could not turn down,” Eric Cruz stated.
