WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - The Wood-Ridge Board of Health is offering their Annual Blood Screening Program on Wednesday, September 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 am at the Senior Center located at 495 Highland Avenue. This program is open to all adults 18 years of age and older. This is an opportunity to check your body's internal wellness.
The test will consist of CBC, Chem 23 and Lipid Profile. Costs start at $21; cash or checks are accepted. Additional testing packages for Thyroid, Homocystein levels and PSA will also be available for an additional cost ranging from $7.00 to $39.00. Results will be sent directly to the individual's physician.
Pre-registration is not required, but helpful. At the time of registration, please bring 2 stamped envelopes -- one addressed to your physician, 1 addressed to yourself.
No one will be tested unless they provide the name and address of their medical doctor. Your must fast twelve (12) hours prior to the appointment. Refreshments will be available after testing.
