WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- There were some special guests at the Wood-Ridge Lions Club annual pancake breakfast Sunday morning at Wood-Ridge High School.

About 25 military veterans and their families were treated to a complimentary breakfast by the organization. All tickets were donated by club members.

All money raised for this event goes to various charities in the area. Rose Pagan, coordinator of A Hero's Welcome North Jersey chapter, said veterans from various organizations were in attendance, mostly from the New Jersey Veterans Network.
