CHATHAM, NJ - Wood-Ridge native Christopher J. Schulz was one of two new police officers sworn in by Chatham Township Mayor Curt Ritter on Thursday night at regular meeting of the Chatham Township Committee.

According to Chatham Township Police Chief Steven Hennelly, the two new officers puts the police department at a full contingent of 21. Connor Manning and Schulz fill the voids left by the retirements of Robert Sheetz and Dave Schaffer.

Both Manning and Schulz are graduates of the Morris County Police Academy. Manning, 23, is a Magnum Cum Laude graduate of Montclair State University and grew up in Denville. Schulz, 25, is a 2014 graduate of Rutgers University and hails from Wood-Ridge.
