WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- The Wood-Ridge Public Education Foundation is participating in the Pepsi Recycle Rally Summer Contest. This will be the second year that the WRPEF will participate in the contest. The Foundation has set a hefty goal to recycle 8,000 plastic bottles from June 1 until August 31.
In order to meet the goal, the Foundation has sought out the assistance of the community for support. Pepsi recycling containers have been placed at various locations throughout Wood-Ridge and Hasbrouck Heights including:
- Wood-Ridge Recreational program sites
- Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club
- Wood-Ridge Fire Department
If successful in the recycling collection goal, the Catherine E. Doyle School will win $1,000.00 from Pepsi Recycling Rally.
The Wood Ridge Public Education Foundation donated over $3,000.00 to the Wood-Ridge School District in the 2017-2018 school year. The WRPEF was established to assist educators in the district with funding assistance for programs that are not included in the district budget.
