Hasbrouck Heights Memorial Day Parade 2019 will step off at 10am from Lawrence Avenue and go south on Terrace Avenue to Veterans Memorial Park at Henry Street. There will be a rememberance ceremony with veterans and local officials. Afterward there will be a memorial service at the Firemen's Memorial at the Circle.

Belmar Puts Off Decision on Beachfront Parking Fee Hike Until Next Season

BELMAR, NJ — Metered parking fees along Belmar’s beachfront will remain at $1 an hour for the rest of the summer.

The Borough Council on August 6 tabled a proposed ordinance that would have increased the fee to $2 an hour, as a way to bring in additional revenues to meet a shortfall in its parking utility budget.
