HASBROUCK HEIGHTS - Cleo Kepka made a splash for the Hasbrouck Heights/Garfield Swim team last week, finishing first in three of her four individual races, and first in two of her four relays, as the Hasbrouck Heights/Garfield Girls Swim Team split their opening two meets of the season.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - In the biggest start of his football career, Spencer Lee came out on Friday and had the game of his life.  Lee was 9-of-10 for 252 yards and five touchdowns to lead Hasbrouck Heights to 48-24 victory over Rutherford, giving the Aviators the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Championship for the second time in three years.

WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -  Facing a must-win game against St. Mary on Saturday afternoon, the Wood-Ridge defense rose to the occasion, shutting down the Gael's offense, which received a boost for the game with junior transfer quarterback Matt Toman being eligible.  The unit has been named the Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 6.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS - So much for soccer being a low scoring game.

Emiland Elezaj scored seven goals in two games for Hasbrouck Heights Boys Soccer team last week to lead them to an undefeated start to the 2018 season.  The Aviators went 2-0 the opening week, handily defeating St. Mary 7-0, and Becton 5-0.
