HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Talia Ferguson broke the Hasbrouck Heights' record for the girl’s long jump with a leap of 17 feet, 9  ½ inches on April 15, to become the Athlete of the Week for the week of April 14 - 20. Ferguson broke Marissa Romano’s previous mark to set the new school record. Romano is currently the jumps coach for the Aviators.

Ferguson, a junior, is one of the top long jumpers, hurdlers and sprinters in the girls division of North 1, Group 1.
