HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- Area residents have a new location to get their daily boost of caffeine as the KTB Coffee Shop celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon cutting late Saturday afternoon.
The coffee shop and lounge is owned by Kristopher and Tatiane Baignosche. They were joined by their children, Sean, Bryanna, and Declan, Mayor Jack DeLorenzo, Councilmen Ron Kistner and Christopher Hillmann, along with friends and family, for the official ribbon cutting event.
Mayor DeLorenzo welcomed them to Hasbrouck Heights and wished them well in business business.
Kristopher Baignosche said he wants customers to come and "relax and take their time," saying that they're "not rushing everyone out."
This is the second KTB Coffee Shop for the couple. The original shop is in North Arlington. The couple signed the lease on the property, home to a former convenience store, on February 1. In four months, they completely renovated the interior, including updated exits, bathrooms, and retrofitting the site with a kitchen. One of the focal points is the shop's food and beverage menu which takes up most of the wall behind the coffee bar area. The menu features hot and cold coffee and tea drinks, smoothies and slushies, breakfast, wraps, paninis, sandwiches, sides, and desserts.
There's a eclectic mix of furniture, tables and chairs. A side wall features artwork from local artists.
They will offer ongoing special events, including live music on Fridays and Saturdays, open mic night on alternating Wednesdays, stand up comedy open mic and trivia night once a month. The plan to have seasonal events and a concert series.
KTB Coffee Shop is located at 183 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, and open seven days a week.
