WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- Santa Claus took a short break from his Christmas preparations to come visit children in Wood-Ridge at Kearny Bank on Saturday afternoon.

Upwards of 35 children, and a few four legged visitors, visited with Santa. He chatted with the children for a bit, and listen to their holiday gift wishes. He showed the children Rudolph's new collar, complete with jingle bells, and told the children when they hear that sound on Christmas Eve, he'll be on his way. And he posed for photos with the children and parents. The children received holiday hats, goodie bags, and enjoyed some refreshments.

There were a few creatures who also joined in the festivities. Family dogs, a skunk, and a kinkajou also paid a visit to the Man in Red.
