TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Tuesday. But while he did not hold a daily press conference, he did increase the number of states to 31 from which travelers are advised to self-quarantine to cull the spread of COVID-19 with the pandemic intensifying across the country.

In New Jersey, there were 424 new cases reported, with 22 new deaths. Statewide, there are 177,256 positive cases and 13,763 deaths, and 1,974 probable COVID-19 deaths.

Bergen County Executive James Tedesco announced that there are 20,094 positive cases in the county as of 12 pm Tuesday. According to Tedesco, Hasbrouck Heights has 209 cases, Wood-Ridge has 153 cases, and Teterboro has 6 cases.

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 20,052 positive cases, and followed by Hudson (19,267), Essex (19,153), Middlesex Passaic (17,181), Middlesex (17,155) with 688 under investigation.  There are a total of 1,764 deaths in Bergen County, while Essex County, continues to lead the state with 1,840, according to Governor Murphy.

As of 10 p.m. Monday, Murphy noted there were 833 patients in the hospital being treated for COVID-19, with 169 patients were in ICU or critical care, and 79 patients on ventilators.
