TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy did not hold a press conference on Saturday, but did release the newest number of positive cases of COVID-19 and deaths from around the state.

There are 347 new cases with 36 new deaths. Statewide, there are 170,873 positive cases and 13,094 deaths. 

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 19,275, and followed by Hudson (18,814), Essex (18,696), Passaic (16,868), and Middlesex (16,724), with 697 under investigation.  There are a total of 1,720 deaths in Bergen County, while Essex County, continues to lead the state with 1,781, according to Governor Murphy.

As of 10 p.m. Friday, there were 1,103 patients in the hospital being treated for COVID-19, with 236 patients were in ICU or critical care, and 200 patients on ventilators. There were 111 live patients discharges from the hospital.
