TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy did not hold a press conference on Sunday, but did release the newest number of positive cases of COVID-19 and deaths from around the state.
There are 354 new cases with 30 new deaths. Statewide, there are 171,172 positive cases and 13,121 deaths.
According to Murphy, Bergen County has 19,354, and followed by Hudson (18,834), Essex (18,716), Passaic (16,867), and Middlesex (16,674), with 651 under investigation. There are a total of 1,720 deaths in Bergen County, while Essex County, continues to lead the state with 1,784, according to Governor Murphy.
As of 10 p.m. Saturday, there were 1,014 patients in the hospital being treated for COVID-19, with 223 patients were in ICU or critical care, and 187 patients on ventilators. There were 124 live patients discharges from the hospital.
