TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy did not hold a press conference on Saturday, but did release the newest number of positive cases of COVID-19 and deaths from around the state.

There are 446 new cases with 25 new deaths. Statewide, there are 168,834 positive cases and 12,857 deaths. 

Per a statement by Bergen County Executive James Tedesco, Bergen County will begin reporting county numbers twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 18,996, and followed by Hudson (18,775), Essex (18,515), Passaic (16,735), and Middlesex (16,592), with 710 under investigation.  There are a total of 1,693 deaths in Bergen County, while Essex County, continues to lead the state with 1,759, according to Governor Murphy.
