TRENTON, NJ - While there was no press conference by Governor Phil Murphy and state officials, his administration released the latest number of new cases and deaths in the state.

There are 2,316 new cases with 21 new deaths. Statewide, there are 13,386 positive cases and 161 deaths in total as of Sunday. The governor announced that there are 2,169 total cases in Bergen County 

According to Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the county now has a total of 2,281 cases, and 41 total deaths. He noted that numbers may vary due to varied reporting times from both the State and local municipalities; as well as pending case verifications and/or county attribution by NJDOH.

Locally, Hasbrouck Heights has 29 cases, and Wood-Ridge 23. 

Tedesco announced that beginning Sunday, a  Bergen County drive-thru screening site will be open only for first responders and healthcare professionals who are symptomatic. He also closed all county parks until further notice to further enforce federal guidelines for social distancing.
