TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the state on Thursday. 

In New Jersey, there were 261 new cases reported, with 16 new deaths. Statewide, there are 180,970 positive cases and 13,934 deaths, and 1,785 probable COVID-19 deaths. 

According to Murphy, Bergen County has 20,412 positive cases, with Essex moving back in second (19,441), followed by Hudson (19,434), Middlesex (17,626), and Passaic (17,384) with 646 under investigation.

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, Murphy noted there were 759 patients in the hospital. There are 123 patients were in ICU or critical care, and 51 patients on ventilators, according to the governor.
