TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy releaseded the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey on Thursday afternoon. 

There were 4,320 new cases reported, with 34 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 293,744 positive cases and 14,877 deaths, and 1,812 probable COVID-19 fatalities.  

According to Murphy, Essex County has 31,561 positive cases, and followed by Bergen (30,666), Hudson (28,090), Middlesex (27,159), Passaic (26,032), with 696 under investigation.

Two counties reported over 400 new cases, Bergen (459) and Essex (401.)  Five counties report over 300 new cases, including Hudson (360), Passaic (357), Middlesex (347), Camden (328), and Union (327.) Four counties reported over 200 cases, Monmouth (287), Ocean (238), Mercer (226), and Burlington (205.)

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there were 2,471 people hospitalized, 456 patients in ICU and 216 on ventilators.
