TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey Wednesday afternoon.

There were 4,073 new cases reported, with 50 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 317,905 positive cases and 15,057 deaths, and 1,829 probable COVID-19 fatalities.  

According to Murphy, Essex County has 33,830 positive cases, and followed by Bergen (32,912), Hudson (28,974), Middlesex (28,974), Passaic (28,213), with 720 under investigation.

Passaic County reported 432 new cases. Four counties reported over 300 new cases, Bergen (387), Essex (366), Hudson (365), and Union (309.)  Six counties report over 200 new cases, including Camden (289), Monmouth (273), Burlington (263), Middlesex (255), Morris (211), and Mercer (205.)  Two counties reported over 100 cases, Ocean (198), and Gloucester (116.)

As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, there were 2,902 people hospitalized, 545 patients in ICU and 281 on ventilators.
