BERGEN COUNTY, NJ -  Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro was named one of the top 10 in the state of New Jersey in "U.S. News and World Report's" 2020 Best High Schools rankings.

Bergen Technical High School is ranked #7 in the New Jersey and #93 in the Nation. According to the survey, the school has a Graduation Rate of 99%, College Readiness of 93.9, and Enrollment in grades 9 to 12 of 665 students.

Hasbrouck Heights High School was ranked #155 in New Jersey Rankings, and #4,251 in National Rankings. The district has a Graduation Rate of 99%, College Readiness of 29.5, and Enrollment of students in 9 to 12th grades of 562.

Wood-Ridge High School was ranked #271 in New Jersey Rankings, and #8,341 in National Rankings. According to the site, it has a Graduation Rate of 91%, College Readiness of 19.6, and Enrollment in 9 to 12th grades as 427.

The publication ranked approximately 17,790 public high schools out of more than 24,000 reviewed, according to its website. This is the count of public high schools that had a 12th grade enrollment of 15 or greater, or otherwise had sufficient enrollment in other high school grades during the 2017-2018 school year to be analyzed.

The annual survey analyzes six indicators including College Readiness 30%: Math and Reading Proficiency 20%; Math and Reading Performance 20%; Underserved Student Performance 10%; College Curriculum Breadth 10%; and Graduation Rate 10%.

The publication does not collect data directly from schools, but instead gathers it from third-party sources including the Common Core of Data is the U.S. Department of Education website; Statewide math and reading level assessment tests and high school graduation rates; The College Board and International Baccalaureate.

All data was from the 2017-18 academic year.
