HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- It's one week until the 5th Annual Taste of Hasbrouck Heights and Friends on Wednesday, November 14, at its new location, the Fiesta in Wood-Ridge. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m..
Mimi Hui, event director, encourages people to purchase tickets and not wait until the last minute. Last year's event was sold out.
The Taste of Hasbrouck Heights and Friends brings the community together to support local restaurants, said Hui, who is also Director of the Hasbrouck Heights Library. Last year over 300 attendees sampled the signature dishes from area restaurants. This year there will be 30 restaurants from Wood-Ridge, Hasbrouck Heights, Teterboro, East Rutherford, and Rochelle Park. In addition, there will also be a 50/50, Tricky Tray and music.
Tickets can be purchased at:
- The Hasbrouck Heights Library, 320 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights
- The Religious Shoppe, 220 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights
- Kearny Bank, 250 Valley Boulevard, Wood-Ridge, and
- Online through the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce website. (a $2 convenience fee is charged per transaction.)
Tickets are $40 for adults, $45 at the door, and $20 for children. A table of 12 must be reserved in advance.
The Taste of Hasbrouck Heights is hosted by the Hasbrouck Heights Friends of The Free Public Library in partnership with the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce.
