HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- Members of Hasbrouck Heights Girl Scout troop 94750 held a Body Positivity workshop as part of their Silver Award project. The event was attended by over 35 girls from second to fifth grade.

The two-hour workshop included an introduction of the host troop's girls and what they liked about themselves. They broke into small groups featuring activities and group discussion. In addition to helping the girls feel better about themselves and their own bodies, the profits from the event will go towards buying Body Positive posters and signs for the middle school.  The girls are using social media to spread awareness on both Pintrest and Instagram.
