TETERBORO, NJ - The Borough of Teterboro Mayor and Council observed a moment of silence before the special Thursday night meeting, to honor those who had died on September 11, 2001.

"At this time, we're going to have moment of silence for all those who lost their lives 19 years ago," said Mayor John P. Watt. "And reflect upon America's proud tradition of freedom and bravery, and to renew our commitment to serving our community, state, and nation."

On second reading, the Council approved the re-appointments of Graciela M. Ramirez and Deputy Municipal Clerk and Susan Krause as Administrative/Clerical Employee. It also approved the snow plow agreement with Bergen County and awarded a professional services contract for records management services to Pro Libra Associates, Inc., of Summit, NJ.

In his Municipal Manager's Report, Nicholas Saros explained that the curbs, sidewalks, milling and resurfacing of North Street will begin within a week.

The regular October meeting was changed from Tuesday, October 13 to Tuesday, October 20.
